The timepiece manufacture Louis Erard is pleased to offer a new 1931 Chronometer Chronograph watch, which demonstrates supreme elegance combined with sporty spirit.
The new Louis Erard watch is embodied in a 44 mm round-shaped case, rendered in 18-carat rose gold. It is topped by a bezel, manufactured from the same material.
The appealing bezel gently holds a high-grade sapphire crystal. This very glass is also utilized for the back side of the model.
The case is equipped with a massive winding crown, nestled at 3 o’clock. The crown is supported by chronograph pushers, featured at 2 and 4 o’clock. All these elements coordinate perfectly with elegant curves of the lugs. The case construction is 50-meter water-resistant.
The new 1931 Chronometer Chronograph watch shows off a black textured dial. It is completed with dot-shaped white-painted hour-markers, which make a fine contrast with a dark character of the display.
The hour-marker at 12 o’clock is allied with a triangle-shaped index. The minute track is also performed in white.
Pointing to hours and minutes are centralized partially transparent hands. They are joined by a slim chronograph seconds hand. The display also comprises a tachymeter scale, inscribed around the rim of the watch face.
The small seconds are ticking away in a neat sub-dial at 9 o’clock. The 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters are revealed at 12 and 6 o’clock respectively. The 12-hour totalizer also includes a date aperture.
All the functions are animated by a Swiss-made automatic ETA Valjoux 7750 movement, officially certified as a chronometer by COSC. Paved with 25 jewels, it beats to the rhythm of 28, 800 vibrations per hour and supplies a 42-hour power reserve.
Easy-to-wear on all occasions, the new Louis Erard watch comes fitted with a black crocodile leather strap, finalized by an 18-carat rose gold buckle.
