Longines Unveils Column-Wheel Single Push-Piece Chronograph 180th Anniversary Limited Edition Watch

Longines unveils its new Column-Wheel Single Push-Piece Chronograph watch, marking the brand’s 180th anniversary. It will join an exclusive collection of the brand’s limited-edition commemorative models to be released this year.

The new Longines watch wins the heart by its timeless elegance. It has been inspired by Longines’ first wrist chronograph born in 1913. The 40 mm case of the timepiece is sculptured in 18K pink gold. It is 30-meter water-resistant. Its face is shielded by a sapphire crystal. The case construction stands out due to its mobile bracelet loops hinting at the prestigious heritage of the brand.

The transparent case-back allows to admire the inner life of the model. Its heart is an automatic, column-wheel chronograph movement - L788.2 calibre. The 27-jewel mechanism, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers a 54-hour power reserve. It animates the following functions - hours, minutes, seconds, date and chronograph. The watch owner controls the functions with help of a crown-integrated single push-piece featured at 3 o’clock.

The clear white dial displays the time with help of blued steel hands and black Arabic numerals. You will notice a red-painted numeral at 12 o’clock. The 30-minute and small seconds counters are found at 3 and 9 o’clock respectively. The date window is at 6 o’clock.

The Longines Column-Wheel Single Push-Piece Chronograph 180th Anniversary Limited Edition watch is presented on a brown alligator leather strap equipped with a dainty buckle. The novelty is limited to just 180 pieces.
