The new Piaget watch eloquently demonstrates its exceptional character acquired due to a subtle meeting of the brand’s rich watchmaking heritage and the latest horological achievements.
Encouraged by the historical model, issued in the early 1960s, the novel timepiece accommodates a highly advanced mechanical self-winding 524P caliber movement, executed entirely in the company’s workshops. It provides a respectable power reserve of 40 hours.
The entire robust mechanism is inserted into an 18-carat pink or white gold case, highlighted by the sparkle of 60 brilliant-cut diamonds. The overall weight of the precious stones constitutes 0.8 carats. The case features a crown, embellished with a 0.1-carat brilliant-cut diamond.
The back side of the watch is skillfully equipped with a cambered sapphire crystal, which opens to view a circular-grained plate and bevelled bridges, incorporated into the movement. It also reveals circular Cotes de Geneve screws, created in keeping with the brand’s time-honored philosophy.
The case of the Piaget Limelight City watch is complimented by a silver-colored oval dial. It comprises 18-carat pink gold hour-markers, breathtakingly inset with 50 brilliant-cut diamonds. The total weight of the jewels is equal to 0.1 carats. Pointing to the hours and minutes are supremely elegant hands. The date indication is arranged in the exhibition window at 6 o’clock.
The new Piaget watch is presented on a hand-stitched brown alligator leather strap. It terminates in an 18-carat pink gold pin buckle, illuminated by the play of 17 brilliant-cut diamonds with a total weight of 0.1 carat.
A true incarnation of femininity, the Piaget watch will exert an irresistible attraction on women, who wish to wear a reliable timekeeper and a fashionable accessory.
