Hamilton Khaki Navy Pioneer Limited Edition Watch Uniting Past and Present

Feb 01, 2012
Celebrating its 120th anniversary this year, Hamilton pays tribute to its naval past and pleases its fans by the introduction of its new Khaki Navy Pioneer watch. The novelty has been inspired by the brand's 1940s marine chronometers. The zest of the model is that it can be easily transformed from a wristwatch into a table clock.

The 46.5 mm case of the new Hamilton watch is fashioned in stainless steel. It sports a unique anniversary-commemorative engraving. It boasts 100-meter water-resistance and is secured to the wrist on a top-stitched brown leather strap equipped with a buckle.

The silvered dial is embellished with velvet highlights. The time is indicated by elegant blued hands. The seconds counter is found at 6 o'clock. The dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

The heart of the sophisticated watch is a hand-wound Swiss mechanical movement - 6498 calibre, animating hours, minutes and seconds.

The new Hamilton Khaki Navy Pioneer watch is limited to 1,892 pieces, the number that refers to the brands foundation year. It is delivered in a hevea wood presentation box.
