The bold chronograph, with its sporty and extremely masculine design, has been inspired by the distinctive features of MV Agusta Brutale motorcycle.
The timepiece will be officially unveiled at SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) 2009 in January.
The cushion-shaped case of the JeanRichard watch measures 43mm in diameter. It is crafted in PVD black titanium and covered in rubber. The push-pieces, the transparent case back, and the engraved tachymeter bezel are all crafted in PVD black titanium.
The push-buttons design allows them to perfectly fit the case shape, providing extreme comfort of wearing. The sapphire crystal is provided with anti-reflective treatment.
The black dial of the Chronoscope MV Agusta Brutale Nera has inherited the design of a motorcycle wheel rim and shows off red accents. The hours are marked by stepped ledges.
The subsidiary seconds are presented via an original rotating disc with Arabic numerals positioned at 3 o'clock.
The JeanRichard watch accommodates the JR1000 Caliber. The exclusive hand-decorated self-winding movement has been designed and manufactured independently by JeanRichard. The mechanism provides the chronograph function with 12-hour and 30-minute counters, as well as an easy-to-adjust date display.
Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the chronograph movement allows to measure independent time intervals with 1/8th second precision. The movement is visible through the smoky transparent case back adorned with the MV Agusta logo.
The JeanRichard Chronoscope MV Agusta Brutale Nera watch is secured to the wrist on a black calfskin strap featuring contrasting red stitching. The sporty timepiece will be available in a limited edition of just 290 pieces.
