The dual time-zone watch provides a clear and original display of the second time zone. Moreover, the 2TimeZones has become the first model to join the brand’s sports line to have accommodated the JR1000 movement, a self-winding mechanical movement manufactured in the JeanRichard workshops. The mechanism gives an advantage of 48-hour power reserve.

The first time zone for the local time is traditionally shown with central hour, minute and seconds hands. As for the time in the second time zone, the watch features an aperture at 12 o'clock provided with an AM/PM indication. The second aperture found at 6 o’clock reveals one of the 24 cities referring to the 24 time zones of the world. The small date window with red numerals is placed at 3 o'clock.
The zest of the 2TimeZones is the two crowns at 3 and 9 o'clock. The first, a screw-locked crown, is necessary for winding the watch, correcting the date and setting the time. The second crown at 9 o'clock is to be used for changing the city indication.
The JeanRichard watchmakers elaborated a dedicated mechanism to allow the adjustment of the hour hand independently from the movement as a whole. All you have to do is to press the two pushers found along the left-hand side of the case. The system allows to move the hour hand forwards or backwards independently, thus offering rapid adjustment of the local time zone.
The 43-mm case in solid polished and satin-brushed steel features a rubber bezel and black PVD-coated pushers. The case construction has incorporated a convex colorless anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The sapphire crystal case-back secured with four screws gives real watch enthusiast a pleasure of admiring the intricate nature and elegant decoration of the JeanRichard proprietary movement. The watch guarantees 100-meter water-resistance.
The JeanRichard 2TimeZones watch is secured to the wrist with an alligator strap fitted with a steel folding buckle.
