In 1681, Daniel created his first watch, having later established his watchmaking workshop. The watchmaker constructed a machine and shared his development with his colleagues. He also trained apprentices.
Daniel JeanRichard represented the living embodiment of avant-gardism. He not only produced watches, he also invented watchmaking machines and tools, having provided the basis for studying the art of watchmaking itself.
