Jaeger-LeCoultre and Marc Newson - Meet Atmos 566
On April, 14th, the CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre Jerome Lambert and the Australian designer Marc Newson proudly announced their latest creation, named Atmos 566. The Press Conference, held in Milan, saw the attendance of more than 80 persons.

Two years ago, on the occasion of the Atmos’ 80th birthday, the Australian designer Marc Newson was given a free hand in recreating the renowned clock. Suspended in a bubble block of Baccarat crystal, the Atmos 561 clock by Marc Newson struck the eye with its pure and modern curves.

This year, the designer decided to continue his collaboration with the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand. Captivated by the charm of the complex horological mechanisms, he has opted for creating a new exterior for the Calibre 566 movement, which animated the functions of Atmos Astronomique, introduced in 2008. Marc Newson artfully turned the Baccarat crystal of the Atmos 566 into a second skin. read more


Jaeger-LeCoultre Reveals Master Compressor Diving Alarm Navy Seals Incursion Edition
The illustrious watch manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre has recently unveiled its novel Master Compressor Diving Alarm Navy Seals Incursion Edition watch. This exceptional watch is available in two versions.

The titanium grey PVD-treated interpretation has been launched as a limited series of 62 items. The version, sculptured in black gold, has been restricted to 19 pieces. Both series will be commercialized only and exclusively at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Beverly Hills Boutique.

The titanium PVD JLC Master Compressor Diving Alarm Navy Seals Incursion Edition watch comes with a 5 titanium grey matte PVD-coated case, which measures 44 mm in diameter. Jaeger-LeCoultre Introduces AMVOX2 Chronograph Racing Paris
Jaeger-LeCoultre is pleased to unveil its new limited edition timepiece created specifically for the brand’s Boutique in Paris, Place Vendome. The Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX2 Chronograph Racing watch, limited to just 24 pieces, is expected to be available in December 2009. The creation of the 24 pieces follows the success of the two AMVOX2 Chronograph Racing introduced at Le Mans 2009.

The new watch honors the Aston Martin Racing team that reached excellent results in the 2009 edition of Le Mans 24 Hours. The timepiece also celebrates a successful three-year partnership between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin.

The exclusive limited edition Jaeger-LeCoultre watch demonstrates a 44-mm-in-diameter case crafted in grade 5 titanium and provided with black PVD-coating. The case construction is 50-meter water-resistant. It is presented on a perforated calfskin strap fitted with a folding clasp in steel with PVD-coating.

Antoine LeCoultre's Peak in Himalayas
Conquering a new mountain always represents a remarkable adventure, especially when it comes to the magnificent Himalayan range running along the north of Nepal. This time the challenging task was accomplished by three courageous climbers, sponsored by the renowned Swiss watchmaking house Jaeger-LeCoultre.

The team was formed of the Swiss mountaineer Stephane Schaffter, 19-time Everest veteran Apa Sherpa and Little Karim, who happens to be an acclaimed expert in this domain. The members of the party succeeded in ascending a 6,589-meter peak, in spite of constant avalanche threats and the base camp, being heavily snowed. The mountain has been officially entitled "Antoine LeCoultre's Peak" in order to pay homage to the brand’s participation in the event.

Jaeger-LeCoultre watches, distinguished by impeccable functionality, were exposed on the wrists of all three mountaineers. It is worth mentioning that the watches chosen to represent the brand, were issued in different periods of time. read more

Jaeger-LeCoultre is proud to unveil a new Atmos Regulator clock that will be available in a limited edition of just 28 examples. The clock has been created for Alfred Dunhill.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos Regulator clock for Alfred Dunhill features a black varnished casing with a transparent glass front. The casing stands on a black shelf with a tinted glass background adorned with Art Deco designs suggested by Alfred Dunhill’s lighters and cigarette cases relevant to the 1930s.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Supports Preservation of Unique Marine Sites
Jaeger-LeCoultre has worked out a new global strategy named Making Time More Beautiful.

The aim of the project is to preserve Jaeger-LeCoultre's exceptional natural environment, and offer support to environmental projects of international importance.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has become a partner of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre. The company will provide support the preservation of unique marine sites that need urgent protection.

To raise public awareness of the environmental cause, Jaeger-LeCoultre will join efforts with the International Herald Tribune. Together they will publish information about the 8 selected Unesco World Heritage sites in the 'Tides of Times' section.

The watchmaking company will not only provide the necessary donation, but also sponsor the publication of the 8 marine sites on 8 special pages of the newspaper in the period of September 2008 - March 2009. In addition, the websites of the newspaper, the New York Times and the company provide more information on the heritage sites in photo documentaries.

The World Heritage Marine Programme is focused at checking the implementation of the approved operations, joining training site managers, as well as providing technical support to states that want to apply to have their ecosystem enter the list of the heritage sites.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has partnered with Leonardo DiCaprio, having initiated 'Time to Care' program to support the Leonardo DiCaprio Fund at the California Community Foundation.

To raise funds for the Foundation, Jaeger-LeCoultre will put on sale two unique watches this Fall. The first timepiece is an exclusive Master Compressor Extreme LAB watch that embellished the wrist of Leonardo DiCaprio during the premiere of his documentary, 'The 11th Hour.' Meet Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea Watch
The Memovox Deep Sea, the first Jaeger-LeCoultre diver’s watch, represents a milestone instrument in the history of the brand. Following the success of of the re-editions of the Memovox Tribute to Polaris 1965 and the Memovox Tribute to Polaris 1968 unveiled in 2008, Jaeger-LeCoultre has now recreated the 1959 Memovox Deep Sea.

The 1959 model was created in two variations - one aimed at European sports fans and the other at American divers. The first Jaeger-LeCoultre diver’s watch provided an exceptional level of reliability and functionality at that early stage of underwater exploration. It became the first ever diver’s watch that boasted an alarm function. The alarm used on Memovox watches was transformed by the brand’s engineers into an acoustic signal to warn divers that it was time to progressively ascent to the surface.

The Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea represents a faithful replication of the 1959 timepiece. Yet, the stainless steel case features a slightly larger size – now it measures 40.5 mm in diameter, while the original model had a 39.8 case. The case-back demonstrates the motif of the 1959 watch, with a frogman swimming in bubbles.
