Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Watches - Balanced Design and Flawless Technical Mastery

Sep 16, 2011
The horological company Jaeger-LeCoultre has enriched its renowned Master Control collection with three new watches. Each piece demonstrates perfectly balanced design and flawless technical mastery.

The new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Geographic watch is available in 39mm white or rose gold case. It is equipped with 2 crowns at 3 and 10 o’clock.
Housed in the case is a silvered dial, completed with applied hour-markers and Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock.

The new Jaeger-LeCoultre watch indicates time in several time-zones. The local time is read off from central hour, minute and seconds hands. The lower part of the dial, meanwhile, comprises the names of the cities from all the 24-time zones.

The watch face also offers a date indicator and a power reserve display, located at 2 and 10 o’clock respectively. The functions are powered by a manufactory-made automatic 939A movement. The final touch is provided by a black leather strap.

The new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Ultra Thin Moon watch catches people’s eyes with its discretion and exceptional readability. It is set in a 4,9 mm thick case, crafted from yellow and white gold. At the heart of the model is beating an in-house manufactured automatic 925 caliber movement.

The mechanism animates central hours, minutes and seconds. They are complemented by a moon-phase display allied with a date indicator. The watch is mounted on a dark leather strap, which emphasizes the refinement of the light-toned dial.

The last item in the series is the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Eight Days Perpetual 40 watch. Distinguished by impeccable functionality and unequalled style, it measures 40mm in diameter. Hidden inside is an 876-440Â caliber, entirely produced in the brand’s workshops.

Equipped with applied hour-markers, the display whispers the time through central hours and minutes. Additionally, it offers a perpetual calendar, which indicates a date, a day of the week, a month, a year as well as moon phases and is capable of showing day and night. Mechanically programmed, the perpetual calendar complication doesn’t need to be manually corrected before the year 2100.

The new Jaeger-LeCoultre watch supplies an impressive 8-day power reserve. The model is attached to a brown leather strap.
