The case of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Diving GMT Lady Ceramique Watch has become a little larger and slenderer. Now it measures 39 mm in diameter, instead of 38 mm that characterized the case of the previously developed models and is 13.27 mm thick, instead of 14.05 thick.
Besides the case crafted from the innovative material, the new Jaeger-LeCoultre watch demonstrates a black dial, the first in the collection. The highly-readable dial is framed by a diving bezel highlighted by 16 diamonds.
The creators of the Master Compressor Diving Lady watch have opted for ceramics as it provides the case construction with remarkable sturdiness, so the watch can withstand the strictest demands and extreme wearing conditions.
The dial of the new diver’s watch catches the glance by its black and white contrasts. Characterized by great legibility, the dial features all the functions essential for a professional diver.
The trapeze central hour and minute hands are provided with luminescent coating. The dial is embellished with a sunburst guilloche motif and completed with metallic applied hour-markers and numerals nicely contrasting with the black background. The face of the timepiece
is protected by a cambered sapphire crystal.
The movement operating indicator, an essential detail of any diver’s watch, is revealed through a unique triple-aperture window.
The unidirectional diving bezel of the Jaeger-LeCoultre watch is crafted from steel and lacquered. The diamond-set bezel is fitted with a protection device to keep it away from improper rotation. The protection device, along with the triangular luminescent index at 12 o’clock, is featured to eliminate any mistake in dive-time calculations.
As Watches.InfoNIAC.com found out, the new Master Compressor Diving Lady watch, created as a professional diver’s watch, corresponds to the technical requirements set by the NIHS (Swiss Watch Industry Norms). The timepiece is 100-meter water-resistant. The black PVD-coated steel crown is fitted with a compression key.
The case construction incorporates a screw-lock sapphire case-back that allows to admire the beauty of an automatic movement beating inside - Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 971 D. The 230-part movement is entirely decorated by hand. Its balance oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It provides a 48-hour power reserve.
The new Master Compressor Diving GMT Lady Ceramique watch embraces the wrist with a black rubber strap on a steel frame, a black satin strap or a black ceramic bracelet.
