Oct 14, 2009
New Delphi was honored to host a remarkable celebration, which was arranged to unveil the line of exquisite jewelry and superb timekeepers from the watch manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre, released for the first time in India. This festive event saw the attendance of special guests: style icon and superstar Hrithik Roshan and his gorgeous wife Sussanne Roshan.

The luxury jewelry and watches from this spectacular collection were presented by models in the course of the graceful fashion show, which reached its culmination point, when Sussanne and Hrithik Roshan stepped up to the center stage, exposing some of the amazing products, manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre.

This showy debut took place in the presence of the capital’s celebrities, the social elite and corporate circles as well as the glitterati brigade. Designers Ravi Bajaj, JJ Vallaya, Suneet Verma, Aparna Chandra, Malini Ramani, Manav Gangwani, Leena Singh, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna were among the eminent personalities, who attended the event.

It was also visited by Sanjeev Bijli from PVR, Ambika Pillai, actress Nisha Singh, Gaurav Raina & Tapan Raj from Medieval Pundit, models Michelle, Ayesha Prem & Sapna Kumar and many others.

The brand was proud to introduce the following breathtaking items:
- Le Lierre, a jewelry set, consisting of a cuff-watch, a necklace, a pair of earrings and a ring, embellished with an unprecedented number of 12000 gems with a total weight of 160 carats. Just as well, it is illuminated by a play of two exclusive yellow diamonds.

- Reverso Squadra Lady, which offers up an uncompromisingly feminine vision. Equipped with two faces, this marvelous watch from Jaeger-LeCoultre features the iconic design and the irresistible glistening of diamonds. The straps, coming with this model, are fast and easy to change. Inside is the brand’s proprietary innovative movement.

A perfect union of the traditional Reverso Squadra features and supreme gracefulness, this model is paved with 36 diamonds, intended for a lady’s delicate wrist.

- Master Twinkling Diamonds, which is a true embodiment of extreme gracefulness. Impossible to resist, this dazzling product successfully brings together two complex arts: exclusive watchmaking and exceptional jewelry-making.

- Reverso Neva, encouraged by the word “neve”, which means “snow”, when translated from Italian. Implying also the name of the river “Neva”, Saint-Petersburg was built on, it recalls the bewitching beauty of the river, glittering with fascination against a snowy landscape background.

The infinitely small technique is a kind of sublimation of the jeweler’s art. A true innovation, the “snow” precious stone setting implies that the underlying metal is completely submerged beneath the gems.

- Joaillerie 101 Manchette, which is a glaring watch, dressed in a multitude of precious stones and materials. Both a useful complication and an aesthetic creation, this model plays with the space just like the exclusive jewelry products, it was encouraged by.

Animating this timekeeper’s functions is the world’s tiniest movement, incorporating a 101 mechanism.

It is definitely only the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture that could give birth to such impeccable horological items, which combine sophisticated technical elements and the finest gemstone mounting techniques.

Charity involvement of Jerome Lambert, the brand’s CEO, is another detail worthy of noting by Watches.InfoNIAC.com. He has rendered his financial assistance to the HR Foundation, established by Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan, whose participation in this grand launch was aimed at improving living conditions for poor children all over the world.
