The display of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre watch captures attention with green, white and red accents, which echo the colors of the Mexican flag. Between 7 and 8 o’clock, the user can see the sportsman’s initials. His full name, meanwhile, is engraved on the back side of the model.
The partially skeletonized, quilloched and rhodium-plated dial is dressed in black. It reveals Arabic numerals, hour indexes and hands, inlaid with white luminous compound. The dial indicates central hours and minutes.
The chronograph features are presented through a central seconds hand, a 30-minute sub-dial at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock. The date indication is arranged in an aperture at 5 o’clock. Protecting the display of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Amvox2 Grand Chronograph watch is a sapphire crystal.
The originality of the timekeeper lies in a single-pusher system, which uses the sapphire crystal to control the functions. In order to start, stop or reset the chronograph mechanism the user has to press the glass.
The sapphire crystal is incorporated into the architecture of a 44mm 18 carat pink gold case. It is 50-meter water-resistant. Placed inside the case is the brand’s proprietary 751E movement, assembled and decorated by hand. Built on 41 jewels, it runs at the rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 65-hour power reserve.
The new Jaeger-LeCoultre watch comes fitted with a black strap with white stitching. It is also embellished with three rows of dots, with colors matching those of the Mexican flag.
