IWC Schaffhausen has enlarged its iconic
Aquatimer family of diver’s watches with a collection of new models. The recreated timepieces are bold from both technical and aesthetical point of view. The new collection has just been unveiled at
SIHH 2009.
The
IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2000 watch boasts remarkable water-resistance: as suggested by its name, it is 2000-meter water-resistant. The black dial of the watch is framed by a black external rotating bezel with the distinctive luminous 15-minute segment in yellow. The same color is used for the minute hand indicating the dive time.
The brand has also created another variation of the model that features a white dial with orange or white numerals presented on a white or dark blue rotating bezel. One more distinction is an orange hour hand.
The IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2000 watch is equipped with the
30110 calibre automatic movement. The timepiece is presented on either a stainless steel bracelet or a rubber strap.
