Heure Universelle Watch Launched by Patek Philippe

Jul 29, 2010
The Heure Universelle watch, reference 5130, from the prominent watchmaker Patek Philippe represents a perfect alliance of refined aesthetic and advanced technology.

The timekeeper is proposed with a 39.5 mm case, rendered in white or pink 750 (18K) gold. It demonstrates an elegant front side, fitted with a sapphire crystal, as well as a screw-down sapphire back.

Housed in the case is a self-winding calibre 240 HU movement. It incorporates a unidirectional 22K gold mini-rotor. Incorporating 33 jewels, this caliber operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and provides a 48-hour power reserve.

As its name suggests, the Patek Philippe watch provides the function of displaying the universal time. It enables simultaneous reading of local time as well as that of 24 time-zones.

Decorated with a beautiful guilloche pattern, the watch dial exhibits applique hour markers and hands, crafted from white or pink 18K gold. Set within the dial is a disc for 24 cities, outfitted with a blue or black transfer. The display also comprises a 24-hour disc with a day/night indicator.

The Patek Philippe Heure Universelle watch is teamed with a hand-stitched large square-scaled alligator leather strap, dressed in matte navy blue or matte dark brown. The strap terminates in a white or pink 18K gold folding clasp.
