Ebel Presents Accolade to Melanie Oudin

On December 3rd, 2009, Ebel Watches Company together with Brown & Co. Jewelers, Atlanta, Georgia, presented an accolade to 2009 US Open quarterfinalist Melanie Oudin to mark her brilliant performance in the tournament. Since 1999, Melanie turned out to be the youngest American quarterfinalist at the Open.

In the course of the festive event, arranged at Brown & Co. Jewelers in Atlanta, this outstanding tennis player was bestowed with a check. Melanie expressed a wish to donate it to the charity organization, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Additionally, Miss Oudin was presented an Ebel Brasilia Watch to recognize her athletic achievements.

According to Alan Chinich, US President of Ebel, Melanie embodies high standards, rigorous discipline and excellence. He congratulated Melanie on her remarkable performance and noted that the courage she had revealed during the tournament was extraordinary. Mr. Clinich wished the tennis player much luck to accompany her on her way to even greater success.
