Hublot Celebrates the Anniversary of Tuiga in Monaco

This year, Hublot is participating in a festive event, arranged to mark the 100th anniversary of the Admiral Tuiga, together with the Yacht Club de Monaco, the brand enjoys a close bond of friendship and long lasting partnership with.

To be held on the Rock of Monaco and attended by HRH Prince Albert II of Monaco, the festivity in will offer the watch manufacturer a special opportunity to unveil its novel limited edition timepiece, which pays tribute to the legendary sailing ship.

The celebration, organized to honor the Admiral Tuiga, occurs within a framework of the 9th Monaco Classic Week. As an official timepiece of the Yacht Club de Monaco, Hublot manufactures watches, which pay homage to the sea and the superb traditional sailing ships.

Additionally, Hublot has produced a novel model, which echoes the colors of the famous Yacht Club. This timepiece, named Tuiga, features the special engraving of the dates 1909 and 2009. Indeed, a remarkable symbol of the Yacht Club de Monaco, this "15 Metre class" sailing ship was constructed by W. Fife in 1909 and restored in 1993.

Hublot has developed the watch in pink gold, ceramic and carbon. It is fitted with a rubber strap. The model represents an alluring combination of the Hublot masterful traditions and advanced technologies.

Impatiently expected by yachting and fine watch enthusiasts, this Classic Fusion watch affirms its character in sporty chic style. It exposes the flags of the Yacht Club at 9 o'clock position and features the name Tuiga at 6 o'clock position.

Hublot also participates in all the events, held in the course of the Classic Week. It bestows awards on winners in different categories: the Personality of the Sea for remarkable activity in the domain of marine and environmental protection, and the Belle Classe Owner - for best yacht restoration with the commitment to maritime heritage.
