Montblanc Supports the DocksArt Fair in Lyon

Aug 10, 2009
The horological company Montblanc is inextricably associated with the world of art. This brand is experiencing a continuous intellectual development by means of communication in the true sense of this word.

Montblanc is involved in supporting many projects, realized in the fields of classical music, opera, contemporary painting, cinema, as well as photography. Its Cultural Foundation, whose activity dates back to 1992, annually bestows awards on famous Arts sponsors in 11 different countries, including certainly France.

Thus, it does not come as a surprise that the brand sponsors the DocksArt fair prize awarded to artistic masterpieces, standing out in such eclectic fields.

The international selection committee, appointed especially for this event, is composed of Paul Ardenne, art critic and French curator; Olivier Houg, Olivier Houg Galerie director, DocksArt fair art director; Marc Blondeau, modern and contemporary art expert; Helene Kelmachter, cultural attache of the French embassy in Japan and Ingrid Roosen, responsible for the cultural affairs at Montblanc.

On Monday, September 14th, at 12 am this very team will award a distinction to one of the artists, who are going to take part in the fair.

In October, the winner of the prize will appear for viewing session in the new brands store, located at 7 Rue de la Paix, in Paris.
