Along with the other world famous watchmakers, unveiling their exclusive watches for the Only Watch 2009 charity auction, Bell & Ross has introduced an exceptional singular model of its novel BR 01 Airborne timepiece, formally bestowed with the Airborne ONE name. The exceptional skull & crossbones theme of the BR 01 Airborne pays homage to the heroic Allied paratroopers of World War II. A spectacular alteration of black and white brilliant-cut diamonds against the carbon-blackened square case made of stainless steel decorates this very interpretation.

The Only Watch 2009 auction, planned to take place in Monte Carlo on September 24th and to be run for the third time, will present an assemblage of excellent luxury watches. The auction in question is aimed at obtaining funds for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a severe form of muscular dystrophy that mainly affects male children.
According to Bell & Ross, the novel BR 01 Airborne watch, which is a homage to the courage shown under the war conditions, perfectly symbolizes people’s daily fighting with this debilitating genetic disorder.
Only Watch 2009 is scheduled to be held in Monte Carlo on September 24th, in concert with the Monaco Yacht Show. The Bell & Ross BR 01 Airborne ONE watch, alongside with the pieces unveiled by thirty-three other renowned watch brands, will be auctioned without a reserve.
All funds raised will be donated to an organization, involved in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy research project.
Prior to the auction the timepieces will go on a world tour under the auspices of Osvaldo Patrizzi of Patrizzi & Co Auctioneers. The items will be exhibited for admiring sessions in Shanghai, Geneva, London, New York, and Milan.
