New Sea-Touch Watch Offered by Tissot

Jul 02, 2009
Patented technology applied in the Sea-Touch watch, manufactured by Tissot, guarantees perfect functioning of this model intended for divers, both above and below the sea level.

When going down to a depth of 200 meters, the owner of this innovative diving timepiece has the advanced technology right at his fingertips.

Along with its ability to tell the time in two time zones and denote the depth of the current dive, this watch incorporates a digital chronograph, thermometer, alarm, perpetual calendar date, compass and divers’ logbook - all of these functions are driven by touching the glass.

The SEA-Touch watch meets all of the European Norm EN13319 envisaged criteria as to diver’s accessories, such as luminosity, shock resistance, anti-magnetism, band solidity and the incorporation of a time control device. When the diver goes underwater to a minimum depth of 1 m 40, the hands move to 9 o’ clock.

Then, the minute hand indicates the depth of the dive on the scale located around the bezel, while the hour hand shows the diver’s speed expressed in meters per minute on the dial. A supremely luminescent material, as well as an effective backlight, ensure perfect visibility.

The SEA-Touch timepiece uses the technology patented by Tissot SA, which provides the rubber-protected pushers with double protection, enabling their excellent functionality underwater.

Tissot assures the SEA-Touch watch’s appearance is as breathtaking as the underwater environment the diver finds himself in. A stainless steel bracelet and case are joined to a stylish black and white bezel, offering a selection of a black, a white or an orange dial.

The silver dial features silver-colored indices, its black counterpart demonstrates contrasting black and white markings and the dial performed in orange has orange indices. The metal base of the rubber-capped pushers picks up the strongly angular case of the timepiece.

No matter how avid the diver is, he certainly spends much time on land. Here, above the water, the diver can also use his Tissot SEA-Touch watch, which will add a sporty touch to his style or will remind of previous dives by means of tactile logbook.
