Girard-Perregaux Cat's Eye Annual and Zodiac Calendars Watch

Nov 05, 2008
The highly successful Girard-Perregaux Cat's Eye watch collection has been joined by a new majestic model - the Cat's Eye Annual and Zodiac Calendars.

The timepiece has been created in pink or white gold. The feminine timekeeping creation reveals a perfectly polished oval case. The elegant mother-of-pearl dial is adorned with intricate gold ornamentation and skeleton gold hands. The bezel of the watch is paved with 68 round brilliant diamonds. Following the steps of other Cat's Eye watches, the Annual and Zodiac Calendars goes on a satin strap fitted with a gold deployant clasp.

The Girard-Perregaux watch accommodates a self-winding in-house movement - the GP033MO caliber, providing a range of calendar indications. The timepiece offers the small seconds display, along with an annual calendar that needs just one adjustment per year. It also features a classical moon-phase indicator, and the first-ever in the collection - a rotating month display with the zodiac signs. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement provides a 46-hour power reserve.

The case back of the watch is secured with four screws. It reveals a sapphire crystal window that allows to enjoy fine aesthetics of the movement - circular graining on the plate, the bridges decorated with Cotes de Geneve and gold winding mass.

The Girard-Perregaux watch is 30-meter water-resistant.

The Girard-Perregaux Cat's Eye Annual And Zodiac Calendars watch will also be created in haute joaillerie versions with cases completely set with round brilliant diamonds.
