Audemars Piguet has proudly announced that Prom Meesawat has taken its invitation to become a new ambassador of the brand. Audemars Piguet highly appreciates its association with the world of golfing. The company has built close cooperation with a whole army of celebrated sportsmen sharing common values with the brand. The list includes Nick Faldo, Darren Clarke, Lee Westwood, Vijay Singh, Miguel Angel Jimenez, and many others.

Universally known as the 'Big Dolphin', Prom Meesawat was born in a family of golf. Already at the age of 3, he joined the world of golfing. In 1997 he won his first Junior World Golf Championship. In his teens, Prom was honored to gain several championship titles, having become the most prospective young golfer. He turned professional immediately at the age of 21. The young golfer made into The Asian Tour and was ranked third in 2006.

Prom Meesawat continuously demonstrates deep passion and strength for golfing, while Audemars Piguet has been passionate about watch-making for over 133 years, striving to create only excellent timepieces.

The company represents the only Manufacture that is still managed by the founding families since 1875, holding an annual production of 27,000 units of watches.

Audemars Piguet has long been actively involved in the world of sports, and yachting, golfing and racing in particular, as these are activities reflecting the lifestyle of many of the brand's customers.

In Asia, the company acts as the official timekeeper of Barclays Singapore Open. The brand has held annual golf tournaments for its guests in a number of countries. The company is planning to host an annual golf tournament in Thailand during the last quarter of the year. The winner of the tournament will be invited to Barclays Singapore Open to play in the Pro-am with the Professional.

Audemars Piguet has been excited to welcome Prom as the first Asian Golfer to the brand's golfing ambassador family.
