Montblanc Support Mandella's Project 46664

Jul 03, 2008
Montblanc has proudly announced that it has become one of the few retailers to carry the distribution of the 46664 bangle.

The company is pleased to have a chance to support African craftsmanship and arrange the bangles' selling on some of the most prestigious shopping streets of the world, including Montblanc boutiques located on Bond Street in London, Madison Avenue in New York and Champs-Elysees in Paris.

The 46664 bangles are produced while using precious metals of South Africa. They are finished by hand by gifted and experienced craftsmen, infected or affected by HIV or Aids.

The first 46664 bangle edition is crafted in platinum, 18K gold or silver, having been developed in two different sizes. All bangles bear an individual number and an engraving of Nelson Mandela's historic prison number he had when imprisoned on Robben Island.

The introduction of the first edition of the 46664 bangle coincided in time with Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday celebrations. All proceeds from the sale of the 46664 bangle will be donated to the Mandela Foundation and the 46664 charity, offering support to those suffering from Aids and HIV throughout Africa.
