New Tissot Michael Owen Watch

May 15, 2008
In 2008, Tissot and Michael Owen celebrate their 10 years of successful collaboration. On the occasion of an exciting match between Newcastle United and Chelsea in Newcastle, Tissot President, Mr. Francois Thiebaud, presented the world-famous footballer with the Number 10 of the Limited Edition watch developed in his honor. '10' is also Michael's national team number.

The watch, to be launched in a limited edition of 4,999 pieces, mixes classic design with sophisticated chronograph functionality and 200-meter water resistance. The 10 o'clock digit features one of the chronograph counters accommodated in the zero. A lucky red team stripe also cuts down the side of the silver dial. The color red is echoed around the bezel to be used for measuring the time remaining in the match. The case back displays an image of one of Michael's boots, his engraved signature and the limited edition number.
