Rolex Day-Date II

May 14, 2008
Rolex has recently introduced its Day-Date II. The watch is crafted in 18K yellow, white or Everose gold. It is also available in platinum.

The new Rolex watch features a 41-mm case with a fluted or polished bezel. The case, 100-meter water-resistant, houses the new calibre 3156, a movement with a PARACHROM hairspring of great resistance to shocks and magnetic fields. It is fitted with new PARAFLEX shock absorbers. These features enhance the watch's chronometric precision and remarkable reliability.

The Day-Date II boasts a new range of dials featuring either contemporary or traditional designs.

The Rolex watch goes on a comfortable Super-President bracelet with a Crownclasp.

What are the new dials? The dial you show is similar to mine, upside down Roman Numerals with a MOP background. However, your picture has a ridge or circle around the Roman Numerals I have not seen before.
Thanks
