Louis Moinet Tempograph has incorporated an absolutely unique and innovative technology. The watch is equipped with the retrograde seconds mechanism that is constantly on the move. It provides a non-stop visual delight, enhanced by the regular ballet of a hand marking off the time in ten-second segments alternating with an instant retrograding motion. The spectacular cam mechanism is visible so as to allow the wearer to see it in action. The cam is fitted on a plate designed specifically to feature its operation in the best possible way. It is composed of six teeth and rotates once per minute. It releases a titanium lever displaying a ten-second measurement with help of a blued steel hand.
