The House of Cartier has started a new chapter of its history, having opened up a workshop in the canton of Geneva. Since 1981, Cartier International SA, has been established in Geneva. The new workshop testifies the brand's intention to subscribe to the traditional values of excellence of Swiss watchmaking. Cartier has opened an assembly and final adjustment workshop in Meyrin that employs ten highly experienced and qualified watchmakers to start with and set to grow very rapidly. The new workshop confirms Cartier' s priority of being based in the heart of Geneva, the birthplace of most prestigious watchmaking.
