Hublot Big Bang for Private Jet Owners of Venezuela

Oct 29, 2007
Hublot has developed a new version of its iconic Big Bang in a limited edition of 100 pieces exclusively for Venezuela. The brand has given the model the code name of the country as used in civil aviation to mark it with a personalized, aeronautical touch.

The dial of the Big Bang sports the initials YV, standing for Yankee Victor according to the International Radio alphabet. Moreover, the creators of the timepiece have left the case back plain, so that the customers, Venezuelan private jet owners, could engrave the registration number of their plane next to the code name Yankee Victor and the image of a plane.

As a result, the new Hublot Big Bang Yankee Victor is proud to bear the name of Venezuela in aviation code. It was the Hublot retailer, Samir Bazzi, representing the prestigious brand in Caracas, who came up with the idea of offering a watch developed specially for his customers who own private jets. In fact, you will meet quite a lot of private jet owners in Venezuela.

Hublot has been truly fascinated by the new project, being faithful to its successful strategy of meeting its customers' needs. The brand has cheerfully spread its own wings, ready to launch a new Hublot Big Bang created for aviation fans.

The new Big Bang sports unmistakable design of the Hublot's iconic model. It is crafted in refined combination of steel and ceramic with gentle satin-finish touches.

The 316 L steel case of the Hublot Big Bang measures 44.5 mm in diameter. The matt black ceramic bezel has six H-shaped titanium screws. The steel crown and rectangular-shaped push-pieces are provided with a natural black rubber insert. The timepiece offers 100-meter water-resistance.

The matt black dial of the Hublot Big Bang features the following details:

  • matt rhodium-plated applique indices and numerals

  • Hublot logo at 12 o'clock

  • inscription YV at 9 o'clock

  • calendar Trapezoid aperture at 4.30

  • faceted rhodium-plated hands with black luminescent feature

  • chronograph hand with H-shaped counter-weight.

In the heart of the Hublot Big Bang there beats Calibre Hublot HUB44, a mechanical chronograph movement with automatic winding. The timepiece provides 42-hour power reserve.

The new Hublot Big Bang Yankee Victor is secured to the wrist with adjustable smooth black natural rubber strap sporting Hublot logo.
