Breitling Develops New Clock for Bentley Continental GT Speed

Swiss watch brand Breitling develops timekeeping appliances for the cockpits of aircrafts and distinctively designed and functional wristwatches for pilots. Now the brand is reinforcing its links to the world of automobiles.

Specially for the new Continental GT Speed launched by luxury automaker Bentley, the Breitling company has completely redesigned the dashboard clock found in each of Bentley's legendary Continental models. The new Continental GT Speed has been appreciated by car experts as the most powerful Bentley's production ever.

The clock sports Breitling logo with the raised, winged B crafted in gold and silver-plated hands. The minute circle has become slimmer, while the hour circle passes by 12 numerals, with four larger numerals for quarter-marking.

The Breitling-for-Bentley successful partnership was born in 2002. The watchmaking company contributed to the design of the technical instrumentation and created the dashboard clock for the first Bentley Continental GT. Since then, the Breitling clock has also been used for the Continental Flying Spur four-door saloon and the GTC convertible.

Breitling provided support to Team Bentley as a way to show its appreciation of great performance and precision in the highly demanding environment of the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
