The Zenith Chronomaster watch line is characterized by its own unique style.Based upon well-maintained horological tradition, every new generation of the iconic Chronomaster sports such distinctive details as the double gaudron of the case and guilloche on the dials, famous as an authentic 'grain d'orge' pattern.

Yet, Zenith Chronomaster watches are created in the spirit of modernity, displaying such innovations as the opening in the dial over the movement's heart, the titanium chosen for the Concept model and the smile-like power reserve.

This year Zenith has enriched its signature line by some novel features. The Chronomaster Open El Primero Venice is created as a reminding about the Italian Renaissance, whilst the Chronomaster Open Concept represents a real feat of technological design.

If you've been to Venice, a magical and cosmopolitan city, birthplace of many diplomatic, artistic and political talents, you've most probably seen the winged Lion on St Mark's Square. The Lion serves as testimony to the magnificence of the past and 'La Serenissima' symbol. The winged Lion is said to have mysterious origins it is probably Assyrian, Etruscan or even Chinese.

Guarding the mythical Zenith El Primero the same way it guards the city of Venice, the griffin's outline is embossed across the dial of the Zenith Grande ChronoMaster Open Venice. The majestic timepiece pays tribute to the Queen of the Adriatic, having inherited perfect execution and prowess of the high-speed.

In the heart of the Zenith watch there beats at 36 000 vibrations per hour El Primero 4021 automatic chronograph movement composed of 248 components. The mechanism offers 50-hour power reserve. The timepiece is able to measure short time intervals to a 10-th of a second.

As for the functions the Zenith Grande ChronoMaster Open Venice, the watch traditionally displays:
  • hours and minutes in the center
  • small seconds-hand positioned at 9 o'clock with a 3-branched hand
  • chronograph central seconds-hand and 30-minute counter found at 3 o'clock
  • power reserve indicator from hour axis.

The 45-mm 18K rose gold case of the Zenith Chronomaster watch features the matching 18K rose gold ZENITH push buttons and crown. The case of the watch is equipped with the curved sapphire glass provided with anti-reflection treatment on both sides, as well as transparent sapphire case back. It is 30-meter water-resistant.

The solid 18K gold dial is embellished with 'sundial' guilloche pattern. The zest of the dial is an opening at 10 o'clock that reveals the heart of El Primero adorned with handmade rose gold 'Venice Lion' strand. The dial of the Zenith Chronomaster watch also sports 18 rose gold hand-mounted applique Arabic numerals and indexes, 18K rose gold faceted hands, as well as power reserve in black varnish.

The Zenith Grande ChronoMaster Open Venice watch is secured to the wrist with help of the brown alligator leather strap that is lined with silky Alzavel calfskin. The strap is provided with 18K rose gold ChronoMaster triple folding buckle.

The exclusive Zenith timekeeping creation is available in a strictly limited edition of 100 pieces.
