Jewelery Chronograph for Men from Patek Philippe

Aug 22, 2007
A novelty 2007 from Patek Philippe watch brand is a timepiece with perpetual calendar or to be more precise a jewelery version of a chronograph with perpetual calendar elaborated for men.

2007 Patek Philippe jewelry version of classic column-wheel chronograph Reference 5971 is made of 950 platinum and set with diamonds. There are 36 baguette diamonds around the bezel totaling approximately four carats (this is the specificity of Patek Philippe Ref. 5971 watch model).

The black lacquer dial is set with diamonds that serve as hour-markers in white-gold chatons. The two white-gold hands indicate the hours and minutes. There is also a thin central sweep hand that indicates the chronograph seconds.

As for the case, it is a real work of jewelery art because its bezel, dial and buckle are set with baguette diamonds. 40 mm black case is water resistant up to 25 meters. The watch is developed with two case backs: a sapphire-crystal back and solid platinum back.

The hand-stitched strap is made of alligator leather of black color with 16-mm prong buckle in platinum.

The power reserve of the Patek Philippe Ref.5971 timepiece is minimum 50 hours, maximum 60 hours. The movement is mechanical manually wound, Caliber CH 27-70 Q.

An interesting fact is that the novelty is considered to be a unique piece of haute joaillerie in the most complicated collection Grand Complications. This is the case when haute joaillerie meets haute horlogerie.

The timepiece bears Geneva Seal hallmark - the highest official endorsement of watchmaking quality and excellence.
