The main distinction of the new Clerc watch is its capability to withstand water pressures down to 1000 meters. It becomes possible due to an automatic helium escape valve, which deploys if critical pressure thresholds are exceeded. It allows the helium to escape, but keeps water from entering the watch.Using the benefits of the most modern technologies, this impressive horological product from Clerc is available with a 44.6/49.6 mm case, crafted from 18K red gold and black titanium. It is fitted with lateral protections.
The Clerc watch is framed by an exclusive crown-activated rotating bezel, which holds an anti-glare sapphire crystal. The back of the Hydroscaph Big Date Power Reserve watch is also equipped with a glareproofed sapphire crystal.
The watch is constructed around an exclusive self-winding movement - C602 calibre. Incorporating 28 jewels, the mechanism is equipped with a balance wheel, moving back and forth at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It also features blued screws and chamfered bridges graced with Cotes de Geneve finish. The movement offers a 45-hour power reserve.
The remarkable caliber serves to display hours, minutes, seconds, date, as well as power reserve. The watch functions are highly legible on the dial. The oversized jumping-date exhibition window is located at 12 o’clock. It is joined by the power reserve indicator positioned at 6 o’clock.
The Clerc Hydroscaph Big Date Power Reserve watch is coupled with a vulcanized rubber strap finished with a folding clasp. The Swiss-made watch is granted a three-year international warranty.
