Hublot Big Bang One Million Dollar Lady Watch Wins Prize in Bahrain
At the 6th edition of the Premier Middle East Watches, Jewelry & Pens Awards 2010 that took place on 26 October at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hublot was honored with the prize of "Best High Jewelry Watch of 2010." The prize was awarded for the Big Bang One Million $ Lady 38 mm watch.

The ceremony was attended by more than 800 VIP guests. Mr. Jacques Tedeschi, Hublot’s representative in the Middle East, received the prize from HH Sheikh Mohamad Ben Abdallah Al Khalifa.

The Hublot Big Bang One Million $ Lady 38 mm, unveiled at Baselworld 2010, sparkles with a total of 880 baguette diamonds, with the weight of over 48 carats. The white gold case is paved with diamonds with help of the sophisticated "invisible setting" technique magnifying the brilliance of the diamonds. As the timepiece is extremely complex to produce, it is created exceptionally by special order.

Hublot King Power Watch to Honor Dwayne Wade
Hublot presents its new limited edition timepiece inspired by Dwyane Wade and his achievements. The NBA superstar is the brand’s ambassador.

Along with the presentation of the King Power Dwayne Wade watch, the brand is organizing its first international basketball event - “One Million RMB Basketball Chinese Charity Challenge.” Dwyane Wade will be part of the event to take place in Beijing.

The new Hublot watch demonstrates the star’s Miami Heat team colors. The 48mm case is rendered in micro-blasted ceramic, featuring a red chrono-pusher and a red outer bezel flange. The case is teamed with a leather strap embellished with basketball net-like stitching.

Hublot Supports AIDES Foundation
The AIDES Foundation is the main French organization, involved in fighting AIDS: it carries out preventive measures and assists people, affected by the HIV virus.

To pay tribute to the association’s 25th anniversary, the horological company Hublot pledged its support to this noble activity: two of the brand’s exclusive watches were put up for an auction, conducted in the course of a Gala Dinner. Maradona and Hublot Million Dollar Wall in Moscow
On September 29, legendary Argentinian football player Diego Maradona faced the challenge of the Hublot Million Dollar Wall. It was the first time that the living football legend accepted such a challenge, called by him - his "Russian challenge". The event took place on the roof terrace of the Tsum department store located right in the heart of Moscow.

The challenge was the following: a wall of the real size of a football goal, 10 balls, at 10 circular-hole targets from of different diameters, at the distance of 16 meters. Each ball represented a value of 25,000 to 300,000 US dollars. Maradona took a shot at each target in sequence, with each shot raising the total sum of the donation by the amount shown under the hole.

Maradona raised the total sum of 500,000 US dollars to support the Raisa Gorbacheva Memorial Institute for Children Hematology and Transplantation at the Pavlov State Medical University of Saint Petersburg. Professor Afanasiev, Director of the Institute, received the prize.

Hublot Manufacture's Inauguration
The renowned watchmaking house Hublot has recently moved into a new building, which is currently housing both ateliers and offices of the brand. To mark this important step, which signifies a giant leap in the company’s development, the Hublot management has arranged an official celebration.

As suggested by the brand’s CEO Jean-Claude Biver, the opening ceremony is to be overseen by the LVMH Group Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault together with Philippe Pascal, President of the LVMH Timepieces and Jewellery division. This festive event will see the attendance of various celebrities, friends of the company, and important figures from the local authorities, as well as press representatives.

It took the company two years to complete the building, which sprawls out to cover 6,000 m2 and is designed to house 300 employees. Jean-Claude Biver is proudly stating the fact that the new Hublot manufacture is already running at full capacity. New Hublot Big Bang for Mexican Football Federation
In 2007, Hublot unveiled the Big Bang watch developed specially for the Mexican Football Federation. The timepiece enjoyed great success. This year, the brand created a new edition of the watch, marking a new stage in the brand’s partnership with the Mexican Football Federation.

Bruno Senna - a New Ambassador for Hublot
Bruno Senna, a young talented driver, has recently been appointed an ambassador for the Hublot brand. Hublot Celebrates the Anniversary of Tuiga in Monaco
This year, Hublot is participating in a festive event, arranged to mark the 100th anniversary of the Admiral Tuiga, together with the Yacht Club de Monaco, the brand enjoys a close bond of friendship and long lasting partnership with.

Hublot Unveils its Tower Clock in Manchester
On August 28th, Jean-Claude Biver was very proud to introduce a distinctive, oversized Hublot clock, the company’s biggest creation in every sense of this word. The clock, boasting a height of 10 meters, was specially developed for the reigning English champions.

Its inauguration took place on the doorstep of the Old Trafford legendary stadium, in front of its East stand to be exact. It is an extremely honorable position, since this is a place for fans and television crews to gather.

The clock represents a 10-meter tower, manufactured in the shape of the letter H: the renowned logo of the Hublot brand.

It exposes four faces, set at the top of every side. Each of them measures two meters in diameter. Such structure enables a person to read the time from any angle.

Big Bang Red Devil II Model from Hublot
The Swiss watch-making house Hublot is continuously extending its activity in the Chinese market. This time the company arranged a showy and extremely generous event, aimed at supporting the Hope Foundation through one million dollar donation.

Other reasons for the event to be held were the opening of the brand’s store in Hang Zhou, as well as the release of the Red Devil Big Bang’s second edition together with Manchester United team.

The horological company Hublot invited some of the best Red Devils players to run the risk of taking part in the competition that was supposed to test even the most unrivalled shooting skills. This adventure occurred on that very day, when the company’s first shop was opened in Hang Zhou at the prestigious department store “Hang Zhou Tower” .

Paul Scholes, Ji-Sung Park, Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra were entrusted with a task of shooting the ball from the shore of the "West Lake" into a target located at a distance of 16 meters, on a boat.

Hublot promised that every goal scored by the players would be marked with a sum of 250,000 dollars to be transferred to the Hope Foundation. This is an organization, which obtains funds to assist children in China and Hong Kong through creating educational programs.

Jean-Claude Biver, Sir Alex Ferguson and David Gill, CEO of Manchester United, were there to support the four players. The enthusiasts, however, taking up such a challenge, finally failed the task. The event was brought to a conclusion by Jean-Claude Biver’s boarding on a boat to bring symbolically the ball in the hole. This action was followed by offering the Foundation 10,000 dollars additionally. The cheque for 110,000 dollars was presented to the actress Miss Lee Xing Jie and the singer Miss Xu Ru Yun, the renowned founders and representatives of the Hope Foundation.

Hublot and the Red Devils, involved in a close cooperation during a season, took advantage of this event to introduce a novel edition of the Big Bang, performed in the colors of the reigning English champions. Sporty and simultaneously refined in its exterior, this novel model will be highly appreciated by fans of both Manchester United and Big Bang.

The watch case with the diameter equal to 44.5 mm is sculptured in 5N rose gold. It is fitted with a black, satin-polished ceramic bezel, demonstrating six titanium H-shaped screws. The timepiece case is assembled with a sapphire crystal, exposing anti-reflection treatment. The watch comes with an adjustable black gummy alligator strap.

The Big Bang Red Devil II watch reveals a matte black micro-blasted dial with red hour markers, yellow motion-work, a 45-minute sub-dial with yellow figures at 9 o’clock position and the "Red Devil" logo, located at 3 o'clock. The dial also demonstrates brilliant black hands coated with a yellow luminous compound. The chronograph hand is performed in red color.

Animated by the self-winding Hublot HUB45 calibre movement, this watch boasts 100-meter water-resistance and a power reserve of 42 hours.

The model is produced in limited series of 99 pieces.
