The Swiss timepiece maker Hublot has once again joined its forces with the UK Football team - Manchester United in order to create an exceptional King Power Red Devil limited edition watch. Visually stunning, the new Hublot watch comes packaged in a tonneau-shaped 48mm case. It is featured in two versions: 18k king gold and micro-blasted black ceramic. The issue of the model is strictly limited to 250 and 500 pieces respectively. Its water-resistance is assured down to 100 meters.
The winding crown at 3 o’clock is made of black PVD-treated stainless steel with a rubber insert. It is joined by chronograph pushers with a special security bar over them.
The case is outlined by a round bezel. It is crafted from micro-blasted black ceramic or circular satin-finished ceramic with black rubber moulding. Bolted down to the case with 6 H-shaped screws, the bezel safely holds a double-sided glare-proofed sapphire crystal. The sapphire glass is also used for the case-back.
Ticking inside the new Hublot King Power Red Devil watch is a Swiss made HUB4245 movement. Its main plate and bridges are micro-blasted, bevelled and black galvanic coated. The caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 72-hour power reserve.
The mechanism breathes life into hours, minutes, seconds, date and a 45-minute chronograph. The latter implies the length of a football game half. The functions are presented on the eye-catching sapphire dial. The hands on its surface are lume-applied. The special attention getter of the display is a bright red Manchester United Devil mascot figure.
The new Hublot watch is worn on an adjustable black rubber strap. It is finalized by a black PVD-treated titanium deployant buckle.
