Swiss Luxury watchmaker Hublot, based in Geneva, has stirred imagination of all the fans of its highly-successful Big Bang concept, having introduced an exclusive set of skis.
The stylish skis, to be available in a limited number of just 111 pairs, have appeared as a result of close cooperation with Zai, a ski manufacturer based in the village of Disentis in Graubunden, a canton of Switzerland. Zai is the first company in the world to build skis with a stone core.
The Hublot-Zai skis have been named "Hublot All Black", after one of the Big Bang timepieces of the brand. Inspired by the legendary Big Bang watch collection, the skis in monochrome black symbolize Hublot's fusion of unusual materials.
The Hublot All Black Skis are hand-made, having successfully combined such high-tech materials as carbon fibre, Triax fibre-glass, steel, rubber, and Graubunden stone (gneiss). The skis’ upper coating, the same as straps of Hublot watches, is produced from rubber, offering soft, matt aspect. The skis are designed to allow fluid movement, along with maintaining a dynamic and elastic handling to provide the skier with most exhilarating experience.
The limited series Hublot All Black skis will be available exclusively from a number of Hublot boutiques, as well as at Zai’s in Disentis. They will be accompanied by bindings, extremely light poles and an exclusive ski bag.
