The remarkable thing about the Hublot watch is that it is produced from "King Gold", a new red gold alloy elaborated for Hublot and used by the brand for the first time.
The case of the Hublot Gold King Power watch is crafted from "King Power," the same as the case back, the crown and push-pieces. The case measures 48 mm in diameter. The bezel produced from the same material is provided with black rubber moulding and features six distinctive H-shaped screws in black PVD-coated titanium.
The bezel lug and lateral inserts are produced from black composite resin.
The timepiece, reviewed by watches.infoniac.com, is 100-meter water-resistant.
The dial of the watch features matt black and gold-plated microblasted sub-dials and flange. It is completed with applique gold-plated markers and black SuperLuminova transfers. The hours, minutes and chronograph hands are gold-plated. The split-seconds and foudroyante hands are gold-plated and brilliant black nickel with black SuperLuminova.
The dial is shielded by sapphire crystal provided with interior and exterior anti-reflection treatment.
The Hublot Gold King Power watch accommodates a self-winding mechanical split-seconds foudroyante chronograph movement - Hublot HUB 4144 calibre developed in close cooperation with La Joux-Perret. The movement offers 42 hours of power reserve.
The Hublot Gold King Power watch is presented on an adjustable jointed black rubber strap.
