The company’s latest brainchild comes packaged in a 48mm case, crafted from 18K King Gold. This very material combined with black ceramic is also employed in the manufacturing of the bezel. The latter boasts 6 black PVD titanium H-shaped screws, influenced by brake discs.
At 3 o’clock, the new Hublot watch features a massive winding crown, made of 18K King Gold with black rubber insert. The push-piece at 2 o’clock is rendered in black PVD titanium with red and black rubber insert. The black composite resin is used for the lateral inserts of the model.
Both front and back sides of the new Hublot F1 King Power Tourbillon Limited Edition watch are fitted with sapphire crystals, anti-reflective on the inside. The model is 100-meter water-resistant.
Housed in the case is a black dial. It is completed with 5N gold colored baton indexes and 5N gold colored hands, inlaid with red SuperLuminova. The display ensures hours and minutes.
The dial also offers 30-minute and 60-second counters, located at 10 and 2 o’clock respectively.
The tourbillon mechanism can be admired in the opening at 6 o’clock.
The display is controlled by a tourbillon chronograph HUB7300 movement. It comprises 238 individual parts, including 27 jewels. The mechanism incorporates a barrel with reinforced spring, a Glucydur hairspring, satin-finished, 5N gold colored, micro-blasted bridges and black PVD-treated screws. The power reserve, supplied by the movement, constitutes about 120 hours.
Offered in a limited edition of 50 pieces, the new Hublot watch is coupled with a Nomex strap, stitched onto rubber. Nomex is a synthetic fibre, characterized by very low combustibility, which is of great importance for the F1 drivers.
The strap joins to the King Power deployant buckle in micro-blasted black PVD titanium and cover in 18K King Gold.
