Nov 15, 2011
The house of Hublot has launched its new F1 King Power Abu Dhabi watch, dedicated to the 2011 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The novelty is offered in a limited edition of 250 individually numbered pieces. The new Hublot watch is set in a 48mm carbon fiber case. The model is outlined by a ceramic bezel with circular-grained satin finish and multiple holes, encouraged by high performance brake discs. It is bolted down to the case with 6 H-shaped screws. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 100 meters.

The new Hublot F1 King Power Abu Dhabi watch comes equipped with a black dial, touched with blue nuances. The inspiration behind the bright accents is blue tracks of the famous Abu Dhabi circuit.

The legibility of the display is assured by blue Superluminova substance, applied to black indexes. It is further enhanced with green, white and red Superluminova spots, featured on the power reserve indicator. Located at 6 oclock, it complements basic and chronograph functions.

The model is powered by a manufactory-made automatic mechanical chronograph movement -HUB4247. It comprises 293 individual parts, including 31 jewels. The caliber provides a 42-hour power reserve.

The new Hublot watch goes on a strap, made of rubber and Nomex - a synthetic material used for the F1 drivers suits.
