The new Hublot watch employs a 44.5 mm case, rendered in black carbon fibre. It sports a bezel, produced from the same material. The bezel is bolted down to the case with 6 H-shaped black PVD titanium screws - countersunk, polished and locked.
The winding crown at 3 o’clock is done in black PVD steel with a black rubber insert. The same combination of materials is employed in manufacturing of the rectangular push-pieces.
The front side of the new Hublot Big Bang All Black Carbon watch is shielded by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The carbon fibre back part is also endowed with a sapphire glass. The case is built to be 100-meter water-resistant.
The model comes equipped with a matt black carbon fibre dial. It is completed with black nickel applique indexes and faceted matt black hands. The display indicates central hours and minutes. It also offers chronograph functions presented through a central seconds hand and counters. The date indication is arranged via a trapezoid window at 4.30.
All the functions are brought to life by the self-winding mechanical HUB4100 chronograph movement. It is composed of 252 individual parts. The caliber incorporates a main plate with black ruthenium coating, a barrel with reinforced spring, steel screws as well as satin-finished, bevelled and polished bridges.
The movement also utilizes a Glucydur hairspring escapement. Adorned with 28 jewels, it offers a 42-hour power reserve.
The new Hublot watch is worn on a black alligator gummy strap, stitched onto a black natural rubber. It is finalized by a black PVD steel clasp.
