Following the steps of its forerunners, the Big Bang Classic boasts the construction reflecting the famous 'Fusion' concept, implying the Fusion of unusual materials, such as gold and ceramic, pink gold and tantalum, not to mention the amazing combination of magnesium and titanium. The concept also implies the Fusion between the highly-respected Swiss Watchmaking Tradition and the Art of Watchmaking born in the 21st century. Based on the Fusion concept, new timepieces of the brand still maintain the unique, timeless design of Hublot watches.
The creators of the Hublot Big Bang Classic watch opted for a range of cutting edge materials, having combined them in the most skilful way to come up with an impressive horological object.
The zirconium case of the Hublot watch has incorporated a bezel crafted from vertically grained ceramic, featuring six H-shaped titanium screws. Black composite resin has been used for lugs manufacturing. The rigorous architecture of the case is presented on a stylish rubber strap.
The dial of the Hublot Big Bang is characterized by casual, dynamic aesthetics. It is made from pure carbon and completed with rhodiumized applique hour figures, and skeleton hands.
The dial is reliably protected by a flat sapphire crystal with optimum anti-scratch-protection. The sapphire crystal is provided with an interior anti-reflective coating to offer perfect legibility from any angle. The watch boasts 100-meter water resistance.
The Hublot Big Bang Classic is equipped with the HUB1100 caliber, a self-winding movement beating at 28 800 vibrations per hour. It gives an advantage of a 42-hour power reserve. The mechanism features satin-finished bridges with polished edges and the central rotor crafted from PVD-coated tungsten carbide to guarantee exceptional winding efficiency.
