Apr 06, 2011
At Baselworld 2011, watch lovers fell in love with the new amazingly beautiful Omega Hour Vision Co-Axial Skeleton Platinum Limited Edition watch.

The 41 mm outer case of the new Omega watch is fashioned from 950 platinum. It accommodates a 360° transparent sapphire case-body that allows to drop a glance at both sides of the exclusive heart of the watch – the Omega Co-Axial calibre 8403. Fitted with a silicon balance spring, the timepiece is provided with a four-year warranty.

The unique sapphire dial features a blackened brushed and polished grooved hour track with the “Limited Edition” inscription. You will notice diamond-polished 18K white gold applied indexes.

The heart of the watch is equipped with the brand’s revolutionary Co-Axial escapement on three levels. The time zone function allows the watch wearer to independently adjust the hour hand. This feature is really useful for travelers who will be able to adjust the time without stopping the timepiece.

The Co-Axial calibre 8403 movement is constructed with polished screws and an 18K gold rotor with a sapphire plate featuring the brand’s logo, the name of the calibre and the limited edition number. The creators of the mechanism have sawn away non-essential material from the plates and bridges to make it acquire its one-of-a-kind “skeletonized” nature.

The Omega Hour Vision Co-Axial Skeleton Platinum Limited Edition watch is coupled with a matt black leather strap fitted with a polished 950 platinum buckle. The timepiece is 100-meter water-resistant. It will be limited to just 88 pieces.
