The Historiques American 1921 has been inspired by an avant-garde wristwatch distinguished by a cushion-shaped case with a crown positioned at 1 o'clock. The timepiece was manufactured in extremely limited numbers specifically for the USA market during the Roaring Twenties.

The case of the new watch is faithful to the original model, having maintained its distinctive cushion shape. The 40mm-in-diameter case is crafted in 18K pink gold. The peculiarity of the timepiece is the diagonal reading of the time, and the crown that kept its position at 1 o'clock. The case is 30-meter water-resistant.
The dial of the Historiques American 1921 reveals sand-blasted finish. It is completed with painted-in-black Arabic numerals and a minute-track. The Breguet hour and minute hands are created in black oxidized 18K gold. The seconds hand in a separate counter at 4 o'clock is baton-shaped. The dial is protected by a slightly convex sapphire crystal provided with anti-reflective coating on inside.
The transparent case back gives true watch connoisseurs a fine chance to admire the supreme finishing of the brand new hand-wind 4400 Caliber. The in-house developed and manufactured movement is stamped with the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva. The movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, provides a 65-hour power reserve.
The Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921 watch is secured to the wrist on a dark-brown hand-stitched alligator leather strap with square scales and fitted with an 18K pink gold buckle shaped as a half Maltese cross.
The Vacheron Constantin watch, to be available in a limited edition, is sure to be highly appreciated among watch collectors and connoisseurs due to the timeless appeal of its aesthetic and functional characteristics.
