The new Hermes watch is executed in a 43mm palladium case. On the front side it is assembled with a glare-proofed sapphire crystal. At 2 o’clock the case features a winding crown. The model is 30-meter water-resistant.
At the heart of the case is beating a 34mm self-winding mechanical movement with a “Time Suspended” module. It incorporates circular-grained and snailed bridges as well as an oscillating weight, embellished with a Cotes-de-Geneve pattern.
The mechanism consists of 254 individual parts, including 45 jewels. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and allows for a 42-hour power reserve.
The movement breathes life into 360° retrograde hour and minute skeleton hands as well as a retrograde date hand. It also provides the function of starting and stopping the hands, that is making time suspended. To activate this feature the user should press a pushbutton.
The new Hermes Arceau Le Temps Suspendu watch shows off a blue grained and snailed dial, embellished with a herringbone motif. The “Time Suspended” zone is revealed at 12 o’clock.
A matt indigo alligator leather strap, finalized by a folding safety clasp in palladium, completes the appealing design of the new Hermes watch.
