Tudor Heritage Advisor Watch - Strong Character, Contemporary Spirit

Jun 05, 2013
Tudor presents its new version of the Heritage Advisor watch. It follows the success of the Advisor model introduced in 2011 and is devoted to the emblematic 1957 alarm watch. The highly technological novelty makes one feel its contemporary spirit, featuring a two-tone dial created in shades of velvety black.

Yet, the new Tudor watch has maintained the brand’s vintage spirit. It is animated by a movement fitted with a mechanical alarm clock module, independently elaborated by the brand. The alarm clock module will please the watch’s owner by its perfectly uniform crisp clear sound.

The new timepiece has inherited from the original version the shape and proportions of the middle case, lugs, and bezel, the signature Dauphine hands and beveled hour markers, and the distinctively shaped red alarm hand.

The case of the Tudor Heritage Advisor watch is rendered in titanium and steel and measures 42 mm in diameter (the initial version measured just 34 mm in diameter).

The 3 o’clock disc shows the status of the alarm power reserve. The watch wearer uses a specially shaped 8 o’clock pusher for activating the alarm function. You will notice an ON/OFF alarm indicator in a 9 o’clock aperture. The date counter is found at 6 o’clock. The 2 o’clock winding crown features an “Advisor” engraving and is to be used for setting the alarm. The 4 o’clock crown stands out by its delicate decoration of the Tudor rose inspired by the original dial. It is necessary for accessing the winding, time-setting and date-changing functions.

The new Tudor Heritage Advisor watch is teamed with a vintage-size satin-finished three-piece link bracelet crafted in steel. It may be also coupled with an alligator leather strap fitted with a folding clasp and a safety catch.

For those who love refinement in everything, the timepiece is also available with an additional black fabric strap embellished with raised rows of interwoven satin.

The Heritage Advisor watch accommodates a self-winding mechanical movement - Tudor Calibre 2892. It gives an advantage of a 42-hour power reserve.

The timepiece is 100-meter water-resistant.
