The legendary watch brand H. Moser & Cie has stunned the horological world, having presented its incredible Henry Double Hairspring watch. As its name suggests, the H. Moser watch is outfitted with an interchangeable Straumann double hairspring escapement module, which represents a delightfully surprising innovation, introduced into the structure of the oscillating system.Catching the eye with its elegant tonneau shape, the fascinating novelty smoothly combines balance, excellence and unpretentious refinement. The three-part case houses a manually-wound movement -caliber HMC324.607, which incorporates a unique escapement, developed to limit gravitational error. The mechanism is equipped with two self-compensating and antimagnetic helical springs, oscillating against one another.
This impressive horological accomplishment doesn’t contradict the conventional interchangeability of the Moser escapements. Another hallmark feature, identifying the Henry Double Hairspring watch, is its escape wheel and pallet fork, sculptured in hardened solid gold.
The movement provides the functions of indicating hours and minutes. It also brings to life a decentrally positioned pocket watch seconds hand. Equipped with a large-volume spring barrel, the movement boasts a power reserve of at least four days. The power reserve indicator is presented on the movement side.
The extremely elegant case of the watch is available in rose gold, white gold or platinum. On the dial side the case is shielded by a convex sapphire glass. The back of the case has been equipped with a transparent sapphire crystal. Keeping the watch secured to the wearer’s wrist is a crocodile leather strap, finished with a clasp in solid gold or platinum.
Featuring timeless elegance and sobriety, the H. Moser & Cie Henry Double Hairspring watch embodies technical and aesthetic qualities sought after by those who want to acquire a watch for lifelong wear.
