Hautlence HL2.0 Watch - Visually and Technically Impressive

Sep 07, 2011
Hautlence is proud to introduce its new HL2.0 watch, which not only impresses with its technical characteristics, but also is a real pleasure to look at.

The new Hautlence watch catches the viewer’s eye with its central retrograde minute display. Its hallmark, however, is a unique jump hour display, representing a 12-link chain. The latter evokes a tank track and is powered by its own barrel. The jump-hour chain moves and makes the entire escapement assembly rotate 60º four times every day. With each new hour, the escapement takes a new position.

The new numeral requires four seconds to move into place, when it is time for the hour to change. The developers of the watch have deliberately opted for this “slow-motion” change to protect the movement from negative effects of shocks that could be generated by an instantaneous change.

The display of the new Hautlence HL2.0 watch is controlled by an in-house self-winding movement. It runs at the rate of 18,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 45-hour power reserve.

The caliber is placed inside a rectangular case, with the dimensions of 50mm x 44mm x 17mm - length, width and depth indicated respectively. The case is 30-meter water-resistant.

The new Hautlence watch is coupled with an alligator full-skin square-scale strap. It joins to a customized folding clasp in titanium or gold. The brand backs its model with a 3-year warranty.
