The Harry Winston Ocean Dual Time has won the prestigious award as the Best Timepiece of the Year in Men's Category. The timepiece has incorporated the first module developed and assembled independently by Harry Winston watchmakers at the new watchmaking facility located in Geneva.
This year, Singapore, a rapidly developing luxury watch market, has hosted the first Gala awards outside of Switzerland. Collectors from around Asia formed the panel of judges, headed by two most renowned watch experts in Singapore - Dr. Bernard Cheong and Wei Koh of Revolution Press. Seventy nominated watches competed for the awards. The panel of reputed watch experts had the task to select winners across five different categories.
The Harry Winston Ocean Dual Time watch has been created as an ideal timekeeping companion for frequent travelers.
The rose-gold case of the timepiece measures 44mm in diameter. The case construction features a satin-finished bezel and the crown-guards reminding the archways of the brand's boutiques.
The sophisticated multi-level face of the Harry Winston watch reveals two dials. You will notice the graphic displays of both day and night time for each time zone, as well as the rotating "shuriken" sub-seconds display.
To click from one time zone to the next, it is necessary to press the repeater-style trigger located on the left side of the case. The easy-to-read large date can be quickly set with help of the crown.
The mechanical automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, provides a 45-hour power-reserve. A sapphire exhibition window reveals the traditional beauty of the movement decoration - circular graining on the mainplate and Cotes-de-Geneve decorated bridges.
The timepiece is 100-meter water-resistant.
The majestic Harry Winston watch is secured to the wrist on an alligator leather strap equipped with a rose-gold ardillon buckle.
