New Hamilton Aviation-Devoted Watch - Khaki X-Mach

The Khaki X-Mach is a new addition to the Hamilton collection of aviation watches. The timepiece provides a few functions to be used exclusively by pilots. It is characterized by meticulous attention to detail and bold looks inspired by the cockpit.

The Hamilton Khaki X-Mach watch allows to measure the Mach number of an aircraft, implying the speed an aircraft is moving through the air divided by the speed of sound under the same atmospheric conditions.

The Khaki X-Mach watch may be rightfully considered to represent a unique portable Machmeter. To make the watch show the Mach number in ISA (meaning International Standard Atmosphere) conditions on the bezel, the pilot has to turn the right crown and thus set the pressure altitude (PA) and calibrated air speed (CAS) measured by the instrument found in the cockpit.

The Hamilton Khaki X-Mach watch will also become a perfect timekeeping companion for those who appreciate dynamic, sporty design. The timepiece
demonstrates aviation-themed elements, including wing-like metal and carbon-fiber surrounds for the protection of the crowns. The bracelet features flying-jacket style stitching and studs. Tiny red accents on the watch case and dial have been suggested by high-precision cockpit instruments. The crown and the case-back have a red compass-style arrowhead as a symbol of speed.

The Hamilton Khaki X-Mach watch has been created in a few variations, all of them with a smooth black dial. The dial is completed by easy-to-read silvery indices and matching counter frames. It is protected by a sapphire crystal.

The stainless steel case of the watch measures 44 mm in diameter and is either black or silver-colored. The bezel is completed with fine white or black numeral markings. At 3 o'clock, you will notice the date display surrounded by a Clous-de-Paris guilloche-patterned area that looks like the wedge found underneath a plane's wheels when it is located stationary on the tarmac.
