Oct 20, 2011
The house of Hamilton has entered into a partnership with Air Zermatt, a prestigious Swiss helicopter rescue service to give birth to its new Khaki Flight Timer watch. A true technical feat, the model successfully unites digital and analogue displays.

Another focal point of the new Hamilton watch is an integrated personalized logbook, able to record the information on 20 flights and up to 99 landings. The novelty boasts a charcoal, black or silvered dial.

Alongside with the features already mentioned, the watch face offers hours, minutes and seconds, chronograph functions, a date, day of the week in four languages, dual time zone, SWAP, day and annual alarm, perpetual calendar, countdown, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), ISA temperature, back light and a battery EOL indicator.

The display of the new Hamilton Khaki Flight Timer watch features Superluminova-applied hands. They are powered by an ETA E20.373 quartz movement.

The mechanism is placed inside a 40mm stainless steel case. It is offset by a unidirectional bezel, which holds securely a glare-proofed sapphire crystal. The same glass is used for the case-back. In charge of the models numerous functions is a protected winding crown at 3 oclock, joined by pushers at 2 and 4 oclock. The case is submersible to 100 meters.

The new Hamilton watch is coupled with a brown leather strap. Alternatively, it can be mounted on a stainless steel bracelet as well as on an orange or black rubber strap.
