Double Tourbillon Technique watch from
Greubel Forsey was bestowed with the
Best Complicated prize in the course of the
Grand Prix d'Horlogerie, which took place in Geneve this Saturday, 14th November.
This prestigious honor was achieved by the brand shortly after its
Quadruple Tourbillon watch had won a title of the
Best Complicated watch at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie Asia 2009, which was held in Singapore last September.
The
Technique is the model, developed, executed and assembled in the brand’s ateliers, located in La Chaux-de-Fonds. A true embodiment of the mystery and sophistication, it employs the
Double Tourbillon 30 degrees, which happens to be the first invention of Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey.

Stephen Forsey have created the
Invention Piece 3 watch, which pays tribute to their third invention, the
Tourbillon 24 Secondes Incline, and boasts a unique architectural setting. With their determination to create new 21st century micromechanical inventions, Greubel Forsey is continuously pushing back the boundaries of technology in order to discover new perspectives.
The third invention comprises a
single tourbillon cage. Inclined at a 25 degree angle, it completes a rapid rotation in 24 seconds. This exclusive mechanism assures the brilliant performance of the watch.
Invention Piece 3 exposes a totally unprecedented display. It is equipped with four gold plates, engraved with a personal message from Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey. The plates represent a base for the timekeeping indicators.

Renowned for its significant innovations, the timepiece maker
Greubel Forsey has proudly introduced its
Invention Piece 2 watch with a quadruple tourbillon mechanism as its focus point. The presentation of the remarkable model took place in the course of the
SIHH 2011 trade show.
Two double tourbillon systems are exposed head to tail on an exquisitely balanced dial, designed to have a pleasing effect to the eye. The systems are coupled by a spherical differential.
The face of the new Greubel Forsey watch offers the functions of hours and minutes, indicated in a sub-dial at 5 o’clock. Pointing to the hours is a red triangle, while the minutes are displayed by means of a rotating disk with a fixed blue triangle. The counter in question features Arabic numerals and a 22k gold Greubel Forsey initials, located in its center.

first Greubel Forsey presentation salon, entirely devoted to the young watchmaking brand, opened its doors on the 23rd of April 2010. The inauguration ceremony was held by Stephen Forsey, co-founder of the horological company.
The
Private Room can be found within the area of the
Elegant Watch & Jewellery boutique, located in the Central district of Hong Kong. In complete alignment with the brand’s philosophy, the salon represents an elegant backdrop for Greubel Forsey extraordinary collections.
The establishment of the Private Room is a milestone in the history of the brand based in Chaux-de-Fonds. It gives the young Swiss manufacture an optimal foundation for the future, cementing its placement in the fast expanding Asian market.

Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, organization in charge of all phases inherent in the planning of the
Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH), to be conducted from January 18th through 22nd, 2010, is delighted to welcome two new exhibitors.
As defined by the SIHH Exhibitor Committee,

Richard Mille will take part in the event alongside with 17 brands. All participants of the exhibition affirm the core values, the SIHH has been promoting in its respect for Fine Watchmaking.
The aforementioned project has been experiencing a continuous growth for more than twenty years. In 1991, the exhibition occupied an area of 4,500 sq m, while in 2010, it will sprawl out to cover 30,000 sq m. The number of participants has also increased: from 5 brands in 1991 to 19 in 2010. The upcoming exhibition will be attended by exceptional retail customers as well as all ambassadors for Fine Watchmaking.

The house of
Greubel Forsey is happy to unveil its
new GMT watch with a second time-zone as its prime focus.
Always pursuing its quest for perfection, the brand’s craftsmen have created an
18k white gold three-dimensional dial. Its special attention-getter is a
rotating terrestrial globe, placed at 8 o’clock. Encircled by a 24-hour scale, it is secured to just one end of its rotational axis - the South Pole. Such a construction allows the user to fully enjoy its mesmerizing surface, created on the durable and at the same time light titanium sphere.
The new Greubel Forsey watch also features an upper counter with hour and minute indications. In charge of seconds is a counter at 2 o’clock. The power reserve indicator is placed at 3 o’clock. Another hallmark feature of the display is a
tourbillon 24 secondes device, presented at 5 o’clock.
