Chopard and Alfa Romeo - Gran Turismo XL Alfa Romeo Collection

Chopard, this year celebrating its 150th anniversary, and Alfa Romeo, celebrating its 100th anniversary, are pleased to introduce the Gran Turismo XL Alfa Romeo watch collection commemorating the milestones of the highly-respected brands.

The new collection comprises three wristwatch models:

• a three-hand automatic C.O.S.C. chronometer, featuring a 44mm stainless steel case,


• a C.O.S.C. chronograph, also with a 44mm stainless steel case,


• a DLC-coated steel variation.

The new Chopard watches are presented on a Dunlop ‘radial’ tire pattern natural rubber strap. The timepieces demonstrate a successful combination of red, white, steel and black. The distinctive detail is the Alfa Romeo logo featured in the signature red color of Alfa Romeo cars on the black dial. The hands and indices are also in red.

The case construction incorporates AR-coated sapphire crystal front and sapphire crystal back. The watches boast 100-meter water-resistance.

The self-winding chronometer-certified movements, beating at the rate of 28, 800 vibrations per hour, give an advantage of a 46-hour power reserve.

Fans of Chopard and Alfa Romeo will be excited to find out that the Swiss watchmakers has also created o a travel clock and a table clock, inspired by the Gran Turismo XL watch.

The chronograph and three-hand models will be available in a limited edition of 500 pieces each, and the DLC-coated model is limited to 100 pieces.
